Bennett was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 9, 1994. He was the youngest of six siblings born to his father and three from his mother Taesha. Walter E. Bennett was his father and he was constantly in and out of prison. Von was 11 when he was gunned down and killed. Von would pay tribute in many songs to his father, including the song “Exposing Me”.
